Cherrywood New Construction
Urban Infill Development
(A&B Unit)
The Cherrywood Neighborhood - bound by Manor Rd, I-35, and Airport Rd - is a byproduct of a boom in the housing market between the 1940s and 1950s and is now strategically situated in an ever changing part of East Austin. The neighborhood has been flooded with remodeled homes and new construction that tends to ignore the neighborhood’s architectural integrity and design. By identifying key architectural components from original builds, I prioritized the exterior design to respect its neighboring properties while maximizing the site’s development potential to provide a healthy return for the investor.
